PS1 Armchair
The PS1 armchair was born from research into wood bending using the kerfing technique. This technique involves making cuts with a CNC tool in the multi-laminated plywood sheet to weaken it and achieve flexibility. Using this process, it is possible to manufacture the seat, arms and backrest in a single piece, starting from a plane that is formed by closing itself, generating what we call a "shell". This armchair is completed with the metal structure that holds the shell in position and from which the legs emerge. While we use a modern process for its manufacture, in terms of its formal appearance, the armchair is inspired by the most classic furniture designs, conveying presence and originality.
